ALOT ON THIS WEEKEND LONESTARS SO PLEASE MAKE IT TO AT LEAST ONE EVENT!
The USA AFL Freedom Women's Team are hitting Houston this weekend for their training camp before IC14 in Melbourne later this year. This is an important event for our club and we need to help out the girls on the weekend and put on a good show of support from our club by all Lonestars! Note: All football will be at new location Cullen Park, just a bit further on I-10 then Bendwood. (See map below)
Volunteers needed from 9-10am Saturday to assist with equipment and ground setup and later at 3-5pm to help umpire a game. Some help may also be needed Sunday morning between 8.30am-12pm. Please let Dan or DB know your availability Saturday & Sunday via Facebook event page or text before you get assigned something :)
Lonestars Saturday Training will be held at Cullen Park at 10am. Bring the girls and kids out to have a run around too.
Socials: Half-Assed Hash Run from 2pm Saturday at The Phoenix. Run by both our sponsors, Karbach and The Phoenix, so after supporting the USA Freedom team and training at Cullen Park that morning join up for the 3.5 mile/7 stop pub run. Pre-purchase tickets via http://halfassedhashrun.eventbee.com/
Later that evening we will be meeting the USA Freedom team at about 7pm for a feed and drink at Canyon Creek - 6603 Westcott St, Houston, TX, 77007.
